Find your way back to you

Therapy isn’t about huge, overwhelming leaps—it’s about creating a safe space to untangle the 'stuckness' together, one small step at a time. At Solbrook Psychology, we use evidence-based methods to support, guide, and empower you to resolve inner conflict and navigate life's challenges. Through our fully online telehealth practice, we help individuals across Queensland take those steps forward from the safety and comfort of their own space.

Our approach

Solbrook Psychology assists individuals to navigate their overall sense of “stuckness”. Whether it be anxiousness in general, or just around other people, we support you to find your way again. If you’re lacking in motivation or have little desire to even get out of bed, or if you find yourself repeating patterns that no longer serve you - we are here to help you untangle the mental clutter and get you back on your feet. If you’re tired of experiencing overwhelming emotions or persisting internal conflict – we offer guidance and actionable tools to support your growth and regain your momentum.

Monique Arruo is a general registered psychologist with AHPRA and sole practitioner of Solbrook Psychology. Monique provides a gentle, non-judgmental space with practical strategies that are aimed to fit into your daily life. Your time with Monique isn’t about being fixed; it is about working together to empower who you already are and build your capacity to navigate life’s challenges with clarity, purpose, and confidence.

Taking the first step can be daunting, so Monique doesn’t expect you to have it all figured out. Instead, she will work side by side with you, untangling the mental clutter whilst honouring your past and building pathways forward. Monique brings a warm, realistic approach to her practice, believing that while we cannot always change life’s external circumstances, we can always expand our capacity to thrive within them.
